"The ladies in this shop provide outstanding service to both of my dogs. Their caring approach quickly puts them at ease, not an easy thing to do with one skittish Schnauzer and one dominate old Maltese who hates big dogs. My "guys" are quickly enfolded with the warmth, love and calm demeanor of Bonnie and the assistant groomers. The open play concept allows them to interact with the others dogs of all sizes without any feelings of insecurity. I and my dogs have followed Bonnie through 2 previous shops and now to her own business (notwithstanding that her shop is in the Beaches, I live downtown, don't have a car and have a groomer right downstairs from my condo). I will continue to follow her wherever she goes because of the fabulous service she provides. Quite simply .....my dogs and I love her."

"I can’t tell you how much I recommend Baden Hound as the best Groomer in the city- my dog is the most anti-social, anti-people, anti-groomer kind of dog and yet those guys at Baden Hound really take care of him and do a great job.
Bonnie has groomed Murphy for at least 3 years now and I wouldn’t send him to anyone else. They are professional, caring and totally all about the dogs..."

"I have been taking my 5 year old 8 1/2 pound, chocolate brown toy poodle to Bonnie for the last 4 1/2 years. Bonnie is the co-owner and senior groomer at Baden Hound. When I took my little guy to the vet this October she commented on the fact that he was impeccably groomed and was especially impressed with the fact that his ears were not plucked but left with their natural growth. She said that too few groomers were aware of the medical research that suggests that plucking is not recommended. It is that attention to the health and care of her furry clients as well as her sense of humor and clear affinity for them that make me feel confident every time I leave Myles with her for his monthly "treatment". Baden Hound seems to have a special relationship with all the dogs that are there for day care or for their grooming. There are no gimmicks or unnecessary rituals at Baden Hound. It's a happy, clean, disciplined environment.I trust Bonnie's holistic approach, her attention to products and knowledge of their proper application, her relationship with the dogs, her skill with those scissors and clippers but most of all I trust her to take care of one the most precious things in my life."

"My 86 year old mother recently recovered from a long illness but had to be moved to a senior's residence near by. Her 9 year old Poodle/Bichon mix - "Peanut" lost most of his hair - possibly due to stress as the vet couldn't find any other reason. I wish I had a "before" picture because poor Peanut looked really bad. I finally took Peanut to Bonnie at Baden Hound and asked her to do her best. Now, after 6 months, with monthly appointments, Peanut's hair is back and he looks very handsome. Bonnie and her staff are very approachable and obviously love what they do. And, the pets who come out of their doors look marvelous! I would recommend Baden Hound to any pet owner."

"The grooming area is clean and spacious with plenty of sunlight. After some less flattering cuts with other dog groomers we found Bonnie. She has been grooming my Shih tzu / Bichon pup BooBoo for the past 3 years with meticulous care. My dog's coat always comes out cut evenly, looking beautiful and smelling great. On each visit we are greeted with a smile and Bonnie takes the time to assess her coat and make her feel comfortable. As a dog owner it is comforting to know that I am leaving my dog in the hands of professionals who care."

"I am so pleased I have this opportunity to extoll the unique virtues of Bonnie Martin's "Baden Hound".
My geriatric, curmudgeonly (sensitive) Yorkiepoo and I have followed Bonnie from her previous location in a pet store (2 walking minutes from where we live), all the way to her present independent location in The Beaches - a 45-minute TTC ride for us. We are obviously highly motivated.
Baden Hound is unique in my experience - a roomy, calm, dog-welcoming space, run by a philosophy that is dog-centred and healthy. My fearful pooch delights in going there, as he is not rushed, the cleaning/grooming process is shaped around his personality and what works to maintain his sense of peace. Afterwards, I always get to see him looking relaxed, strutting with pride (and comfort), and looking dapper; I'm always given a report on how he did, and how it was handled - no wonder he loves going there.
Before Bonnie Martin's approach, kind heart and good doggy sense, my only choice was to take my dog to our vet's visiting groomer, where sedation could be utilized if needed...sometimes the haircut was quite uneven as he contended with my dog's defensive reactions to stressful conditions.
At Baden Hound, they achieve high standards by applying expertise with humane, effective practices that are safe and respectful of their furry clients. No caging in this open work and play space...lots of toys, socialization and windows (as well as supervision) for those waiting for various reasons. One gets the feeling the staff really enjoy and believe in what they do. It's a bonus knowing their products are pet-friendly, and so many therapeutic services are available as needed. They deserve the highest accolades as an affordable, honest and well-run business; it is truly a pleasure doing business with them, and my dog would agree."
